Initially I intended to record this entirely with live instruments, but after working out a different production style and approach, I realized I loved the idea of giving a nod to a song on the System Shock soundtrack titled "Energy Systems" which massively rips off the bass from Head Like A Hole : www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMvHFjyR21s

So I made a big midi mess cover instead. S'fun to betray your initial direction sometimes.
